Apple unveiled a redesigned AI-powered Siri at its WWDC 2026 conference on June 8, featuring enhanced personalization capabilities and a dedicated app alongside new Apple Intelligence features. The updated assistant, built on Google's Gemini technology, includes a camera feature designed to simplify bill-splitting tasks. However, regulatory restrictions will prevent the AI version from launching in Europe, while availability on older iPhone models remains limited, with users able to join a waitlist for access to the new functionality.
